Barry Conyngham – Music Composer
Reflections from Professor Barry Conyngham, former Dean of the the Victorian College of the Arts and Melbourne Conservatorium of Music, who talks about his career, music influences and his new composition, Anzac. This was not composed for Graeme Murphy but the video gives an intimate window into his creative process. He composed Graeme Murphy’s VAST for the Australia’s Bicentennial Celebrations of 1988 – see excerpts – which combined four Austrlian dance companies and toured nationally.
